Virtual Knowledge-Sharing Session with the National Bank of Kyrgyz Republic (NBKR) and the World Bank
CGC President/Chief Executive Officer, Datuk Mohd Zamree Mohd Ishak hosted a virtual knowledge-sharing session with representatives from the National Bank of Kyrgyz Republic (NBKR) and the World Bank on 5 December 2022. 10 member delegates participated including, NBKR’s Head of Supervision Methodology Department, Elizat Zhaparova and Head of Department for Supervision of Non-Banking Financial Organisations of NBKR, Erlan Abdraimov while World Bank was represented by Senior Financial Sector Specialist, Emiko Todoroki. The knowledge-sharing focused on CGC’s experience in terms of supervision of guarantee funds, activities of guarantee funds within the framework of Islamic principles of financing, and classification for creating provisions for guarantees, including portfolio guarantees.
