The Karlsruhe Sustainable Finance Awards 2018
President/CEO Datuk Mohd Zamree Mohd Ishak has been named as the ‘Sustainability Leader of the Year’ by the European Organisation for Sustainable Development (EOSD), the Association of Development Financing Institutions in Asia & the Pacific (ADFIAP) and the Association of African Development Finance Institutions (AADFI) in cooperation with the City of Karlsruhe, Germany. The three (3) international associations EOSD, ADFIAP and AADFI have a combined membership of 201 institutions from 102 countries. Zamree was recognised for his leadership in driving the business performance of CGC through creating social and environmental value by benchmarking overall cost efficiency, advancement in technology, as well as sustainability of pricing model, talent management and capital management. The award was presented to Zamree (centre) by the Lord Mayor of Karlsruhe Dr. Frank Mentrup (left) together with Chief Executive Officer of EOSD Arshad Rab (right) at the annual Global Sustainable Finance Conference (GSFC) in Karlsruhe, last night (12 July 2018).
