CR Deepavali
CGC Celebrates Festival of Lights with Children from Sri Sai Selangor at Bangunan CGC on Friday 8 November 2019. In conjunction with the Deepavali celebration this year, CGC hosted over 50 children and caretakers from Persatuan Kebajikan Rumah Anak Yatim Sri Sai Selangor (the Home). Persatuan Kebajikan Rumah Anak Yatim Sri Sai Selangor was established in 2008 to care for children and teenagers from broken homes, abandoned and neglected orphans, aged between 2 and 24 years old. CGC Chief Corporate Officer, Rahim Raduan officiated the celebration with the lighting of a Kuthuvilakku. CGC President and CEO, Datuk Mohd Zamree Mohd Ishak and CGC Management joined the celebration with the children from the Home. Residents from the Home were entertained with a Bharatanatyam performance by Miss Sashveena from Narthana Fine Arts, School for Classical and Folk Dances of India, and as a gesture of appreciation, children from the Home reciprocated with a performance. CGC also presented a token of contribution to the Home and the children, much to their surprise and joy. Guests were later treated to a sumptuous lunch buffet. CGC is committed to contribute to the underserved, be it our SMEs as well as members of the community. We believe in driving the agenda of inclusion in changing lives, delivering our services to all members of the society.
