CGC’s Annual Back-to-School Programme for 134 Orang Asli students

CGC today held its annual ‘Back-to-School’ Programme for 134 Orang Asli students from SK Sg, Dua, Bentong, Pahang as part of its Corporate Responsibility initiatives aimed at easing the financial constraints of the Orang Asli families in their preparation for the upcoming 2018 school term. The 4th time since its inception in 2014, the CGC’s “Back-to-School” programme initiative is also to create awareness as well as highlights the importance of education amongst the Orang Asli children. A necessity taken for granted by many, these students come from families who earn too little to afford basic schooling items annually and for them, a little assistance goes a long way.
