Now in its 8th year running, the Star Outstanding Business Awards (SOBA) recognises up and coming enterprises and their contributions to the Malaysian economy. It is also to inspire and encourage local businesses to promote Malaysia and showcase its products and services to the world.

SOBA awards are presented to local enterprises for excelling in their respective industries.
